The Living Taff is a celebration of all the great things along the river’s journey.

We started the Living Taff because we think the river is being overlooked. Many other towns and cities, around the world, consider their local rivers to be an important part of their identity. Here in the Taff Valley, however, we have used the river for industry and to carry waste. This use, turned people away from the river and left the river running black and smelly.

Now the river is alive again. We believe that it’s time to enjoy the river as a place to visit, for young people to learn about nature, and to talk about how to improve the environment in our valley.
